People who pirate software don't have to bother with this at all. My company buys many Adobe products, for instance, and before you can use your software, that you paid for, you're treated with suspicion, accused of software piracy and must prove your innocence, if you wish to get any work done.

Again, software pirates are unburdened with that, only paying customers are treated so.
